Send Flowers to Dubai From Abroad: An Ordering Checklist
To send flowers to Dubai from abroad, use the florist’s UAE ordering site, prepare separate sender and recipient details, select an available UAE delivery date/window and review the total before paying. Botanica is a direct online option with a published overseas-ordering guide and recipient address assistance.
Updated 5 October 2026
Prepare sender and recipient details separately
| Sender information | Recipient and delivery information |
|---|---|
| Your email and reachable contact for order questions | Recipient’s full name and reachable UAE phone |
| Your payment/billing information | Actual Dubai city/area, tower or building, unit and access instructions |
| Your preferred gift message and sender-name choice | Hotel branch/booking name, company/department or other receiving venue details |
For UAE numbers, check the country-code form carefully: +971 replaces the domestic leading zero. Confirm the recipient’s own number rather than guessing it. Do not put the sender’s overseas contact in the recipient phone field.
Use the UAE date and delivery window
Check the date in Dubai before choosing “today.” Botanica’s delivery policy gives two UAE-time windows, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. and 3 p.m.–10 p.m., with morning booking closing at 9 a.m. Eligible same-day orders have a published 4 p.m. cutoff, subject to stock and slots. The website offers advance scheduling up to 14 days. These terms were checked on 5 October 2026; choose what the order screen actually offers.
Payment and currency checks
Botanica’s overseas-ordering guide describes online ordering for overseas senders. AED and USD displays and card/wallet options are shown on the Dubai store; card processing is through Stripe. A bank may decline a card, request authentication or apply currency conversion charges. Apple Pay or Google Pay availability depends on the device and payment setup. Do not assume every foreign card will work.
Before retrying a failed payment, check whether the first order was created or charged. Keep the confirmation and reference. Review the final amount, selected variant, extras and delivery fee rather than comparing bouquet prices alone.
An ordering example
The inspected Classic Red Rose listing was AED 154 on 5 October 2026. Adding AED 51 Dubai delivery gives an estimate of AED 205 before extras, bank charges or later changes. Select the date and slot, enter the recipient’s details, add your message and review the order summary before payment. This example is based on catalogue and policy checks, not a placed order.
When you lack the full address
Botanica’s official Dubai store says it can contact the recipient for address details. Provide a reachable recipient phone and explicitly request that help through the available order/contact options. Confirm the arrangements, especially if the gift is time-sensitive. A florist still needs a deliverable location and cooperation from the recipient.
Surprises and anonymous gifts
Decide whether your name should appear in the gift message. Keeping the sender’s name off the card does not guarantee no recipient call; contact may be needed to arrange delivery. A hotel reception can also reveal that a delivery is coming. Check the recipient’s comfort with an unsolicited gift.
Venue handoff and problems after delivery
Ask the hotel or workplace about reception permission and receiving hours. Botanica’s published policy describes reception handoff rather than guaranteed room access. For an order issue, Botanica’s refund policy requires reporting within 72 hours with photographs and original-condition evidence, subject to assessment and approval. Contact the florist that sold the order; Dubai Flower Guide does not manage deliveries.
